Laboratoires Clarins together with Ambiotis will present a poster at the Skin Physiology International Meeting in Vichy, France on November 15-16, 2018 :
Circadian rythms modulation of senescent skin fibroblasts and impact on the biological functions
Laboratoires Clarins and Ambiotis have investigated the link between skin essential functions and circadian rythms in the context of aging. Aging was found to be associated with modifications of rhythmic cycles and alteration of expression level of genes coding for proteins essential to tissue cohesion.
This paves the way for the use of cosmetic ingredients at specific time periods to protect skin equilibrium.
