The Ambiotis news

New analytical services for the measurement of skin lipids

Ambiotis has recently developed new analytical services to quantify skin lipids like wax esters, squalene (neutral and peroxidized), sebaleic acid, sapienic acid,  ceramides, sterols …

Using extraction (LLE, SPE), separation (GC, LC) and detection (MS/MS, FID) technologies, our analyses can support objectivation or efficacy studies related to skin conditions with disrupted barrier, oily skin, acne …

Implementation of a new LC-MS/MS system (QTrap 6500+) in the lab

Ambiotis has recently acquired a new LC-MS/MS system (Qtrap 6500+). Current capabilities have thus drastically been improved. In particular, detection limit has been lowered by up to 10 times for most metabolites of the profile (detection of femtograms).

This will allow an easier detection of metabolites in samples collected in low amounts from mouse fluids or tissues up to CSF.

This will also further support the current development of Ambiotis towards the management of clinical samples.
